Tri-City
The mission of Tri-City Christian Academy is to help
students learn to THINK carefully, COMMIT their lives to
Jesus, and to ACT unselfishly in the service of others.
The Kernersville Seventh-day Adventist Church, together with the Greensboro, High Point, Triad Adventist Fellowship and Winston-Salem churches, have operated Tri-City Christian Academy at 8000 Clinard Farms Road, in High Point, since 1957. The K-12 grade school currently has 180 students, as well as 10 full-time teachers with 12 additional support staff. The low student-teacher ratio, the intentional interaction of students in different grade levels, and an emphasis on Christian service and leadership development, is what makes the school a unique organization. Many visitors remark about the caring, homeschool-like atmosphere that characterizes the school.

Tri-City Christian Academy offers an emphasis on physical fitness together with a gymnastics program, a 5-octave performing hand bell choir, instruction in Spanish, a fully-equipped science lab, an art room, robotics, a full service cafeteria, an annual mission trip, and the integration of iPads in the upper grades. Students regularly score above the national average on standardized tests.

The school is one of 7,800 Seventh-day Adventist schools around the world, making it part of the largest Protestant school system in the world. It is also the largest Adventist day academy in North and South Carolina.

In August of 2016, the school moved into a new 31,000 square foot facility on the existing campus. Currently the 5 constituent churches are working together to retire the remaining $4.6 million dollar loan.

Tri-City Christian Academy accepts students from all church and faith backgrounds.

Outreach programs include building churches and schools, providing disaster relief, and holding evangelistic meetings in places like Africa, Central America, and India (in association with ShareHim).
"Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid...Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."—Matthew 5:14-16
