Join Pastor Ralph Henderson shares the uplifting power of the Gospel through music. Ralph Henderson’s music comes from his heart and soul. It is a gift planted in him by God, as he was not formally trained in songwriting, guitar playing, or vocal training. In his early twenties, a music producer told Ralph he could become the next John Denver. Shortly after that, Ralph entered a songwriting competition, and just hours before he was to walk on stage, he told his wife, Joni, he was convicted that his music should be used to bring glory to God. They left the competition, never looking back, and soon began a music ministry. At an early age, Ralph learned to sing harmony with his mother while singing hymns together on Sabbath afternoons in their home. As a teenager, Ralph taught himself how to play the guitar, and in his twenties, he began writing and composing songs. He has written over 100 songs. All of these experiences were preparing Ralph for a call into ministry. Ralph and his family traveled extensively during the music ministry years, to Africa, Germany, New Zealand, Canada, and throughout the US. The music of Call to Praise has spread far and wide. Ralph has recorded 10 albums, and 6 of them are now available on iTunes, Spotify, YouTube, and other media sources. You can occasionally hear him on 3ABN. As a Pastor, the gift of Ralph’s music has often prepared the soil of the heart before a message or shared as an appeal after he has preached his sermons over the years. Ralph and Joni have both felt the call to revive “Call to Praise” and continue sharing this music God inspired him to write to encourage and draw people to Jesus.
